(New project) Please could someone help me with the following.What is the recognized salt fog test i.e., hours for MIL-C-5541 [affil link] class 3 on diecast aluminum.

The salt spray test is specified in MIL-C-5541 paragraph 4.5.1. It's the 168 hours, 5% salt, 6 degrees inclination per ASTM ASTM B117 [affil link] .
