Hydrogen Pick Up testing per ASTM E1447-01

We have brought in a newly developed copper stripping solution. We are doing preliminary testing before putting using it on production parts. There was a stated concern about hydrogen embrittlement. Will the Hydrogen Pick Up test per ASTM E1447 sufficiently tell us whether this is a issue or is this test only for titanium?
