Ed. note: This might have been accurate in 2004, but it isn't anymore :-)

Q. My company requires the MSDS for Tremclad Rust paint. Could you tell me where I would be able to find this information?

MSDS info for Tremclad paint phone 416-421-3300
Tremco Toronto Ontario. You must phone; nothing on web site.

Raymond S Parker
- Acton, Ontario, Canada

Ed. note: That phone number is now outdated; see below.

The weblink is for more details in the USA and Canada. I just called the number 10 mins ago and got an MSDS e-mailed to me. Cheers!

Ed. note: We don't know whether this was or wasn't accurate in 2008, but a search of that site shows them Tremco is totally unrelated to Tremclad.

Hi! I just called that phone number in Toronto, and they tell me another division is looking after that now...they're at (905) 532-1906. Ask for "Technical Services"

Rustoleum website is tricky. Navigate to US site and click on the MSDS button (Upper middle of screen). Type in the Product number found above the barcode on the label, in the consumer product box. Works for all Tremclad products and Rustoleum.

Address is:

Ed. note: That link is just a "page not found" error now.

Tremclad is the worst site I've ever been to. If I needed MSDS for an emergency the victim would have died already. Good product, sh*t website

Ed. note: Folks, thanks for digging up ever-changing contact info for your fellow readers. But this site of camaraderie & technical discussions is possible only because we've found supporting advertisers to pay the costs. It's getting a bit silly to ask them to keep paying the costs of posting endlessly updated phone numbers & URLs, and detailed instructions for how to best navigate through the customer services departments and the websites of their competitor who chooses to not support this site :-)

If possible please consider asking our advertisers to help fill your product need needs rather than only bearing the costs of providing instructions for how to purchase from their competitor :-)
