Accelerated exposure testing of copper
I would like to test for 3-5 years of exposure of copper stock with various types of surface treatments, to thermal cycles (hot, cold, humid). What is the correlation between cycles and years (how many cycles would be equivalent to 5 years). Is there any good literature documenting such a correlation on-line?

It is said at this forum about 20 - 30 times a year. Accelerated testing has no relationship to actual use conditions. It is a quality control check only.

David,
You should have a look at some of the automotive standards that now exist for corrosion. Some, such as GM 9540P and SAE J2334, do have correlation information behind them. These are correlated to outdoor exposure on sheet metal used on cars. I'm not sure if this meets your needs but it may be a start.
