Coating ceramic rod with nickel

2004

What is the best way to put a thin nickel coating on to a ceramic rod? Want a conductive coating that will change resistance with temperature.

data system applications/design - Hampton, Virginia

PVD is probably the cleanest and most ovbious. But in any event you should consider that adhesion will be limited and difference in thermal expansion of both materials is very high so there is a possibility of bond failure at temperture extremes.
