-----Microbes in deionised water
I would like to ask for the possible reasons for microbes present in deionised water? what are the ways to evaluate the amount of microbes present and how? Is pour plate applicable?

The microbes are probably bacterias. They come with the water supply. The best way to prevent it is to kill them with a ultra-violet lamp inside the water suplly pipes.
