Need a company to recycle our filter cake

2004

RFQ: I am a quality manager at a plating shop with responsibilities for environmental aspects. I am currently having problems with disposing of our filter cake due to the change in legislation. The price of disposal has sky rocketed above and beyond all expectations. Our filter cake consists of mostly Aluminium, but contains the usual amounts of nickel, zinc, copper and trivalent chrome. I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that would be willing to recycle this 'cake' for us or at least dispose of it.

Ed. note: Sorry, this RFQ is outdated so private contact is no longer available, but public technical replies are still welcome! No public brand/source suggestions please ( huh? why?)
