Silver metallizing solution for organic material

I need to know how to get silva spray or another product to create a conductive surface on non-conductive materials so that I can electroplate them. If there is a better way to coat leaves and flowers with gold, copper, brass or silver I would appreciate any suggestions. The items need to be coated with a material that will be mainly metal and hold shape on its own.

You can get metallizing solutions from a number of suppliers including Acheson Colloids and G.J. Nikolas [a finishing.com supporting advertiser], Kara. But that is but one of many steps in plating flowers.
