We failed a hydrogen embrittlement test on Electroless Nickel; we checked our process, chemicals and oven and everything is o.k.; what cause to fail the hydrogen embrittlement test?

What test, specifically, did it fail? The biggest reason that I found was operators staying in the acid etch tank too long. Frequently to remove oxides from hardening. A virtual guarentee of failure.
