-----Titanium conductive coating, dark grey, on titanium
Looking for a conductive coating to be deposited on titanium substrate. The coating itself is dark grey with the coating consisting mostly of titanium and 2%Al. Need corrosion resistance in addition to conductivity of the coating. Hardness is not an issue. It is not TiAlN coating. Preferably, it should be some conversion coating, since I also need to deposit the coating uniformly on the inside of the titanium tubing.

Anodizing in trisodium phosphate ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] at an appropriate voltage might be an option. The oxide color is determined by the voltage and the surface roughness of the part. It is a very hard coating but is thin. Since it is thin, ant the word conductive is very very relative, you might be able to get adequate contact with a nut/bolt or screw, possibly with a star washer. Non toxic and extremely rapid coating.
