What industrial applications for a hard surface on aluminum

Hallo everyone,

I'm doing research on improvement of wear resistance behaviour of aluminium alloys through applying a hard coatings through PTA welding. For my work I'm looking for some industrial applications of aluminium alloys. Where aluminium components need hard, tough and good wear resistance coatings. If you tell some industraiial applications, I'm very thankful to you. Thank you very much have a nice time

This coating would presumably be competing against hard anodized aluminum, so I would use search terms like 'Hardcoat-anodized', 'hard-anodized', etc., and find products which claim to have such a finish.
