Hi Troy,
Sch. 40 cement instead of Sch. 80? Well, it should be OK ... if, if, if the other procedures for cementing PVC etc were done. The main difference is that, I believe, there are more solids in the Sch. 80 cement but the solvent is the dead same.
Goest thou and have a gander at the 'library' of fin.com ... and there's an article about how to and how NOT to cement PVC. In all fairness to the 'new guy', let him see that, too..... his name isn't Joe, by any chance, is it?
