Induction hardening quenchant causes electroplating stains

We are doing Induction Hardening (Quenchant ~5% Polymer solution) and Tempering (~380 °C) for Gears(Material C 45)followed by Zinc plating with Yellow passivation. We observe many Gears with stain mark / patches left due to evaporation of Quenchant. Could somebody suggest pre-cleaning in Plating process or cleaning between Induction Hardening and Tempering by which the situation could be improved?

You have to remove the scales that caused by heat treating by brushing or shut blast prior to electroplating.
