Problems in electropolishing

Sir,

I have a major problem in electro polishing. My company makes kitchen baskets of stainless steel (grade-202). The metal which should come out of electro polishing smooth and shining is not coming, and lines and a little bit of etching is coming .... so I want to solve the problem ..

Thank you,

With the amount of information you have provided, I suggest you check the bath composition, the temperature and the applied voltage and current. When they are all in specification, the process will work well. You must also ensure the 202 stainless steel is correctly cleaned and grease-free.

Dear Devendra,
In market so many surface available with 202 grade wire.
If the wire surface with dull finish / Matte then getting result less bright finish. If wire Prepared with bright finish than you get Mirror finish after Electroplating.
