Chemical deburring of small stainless components

We are in the process of manufacturing flex scope collars using stainless steel materials. This part is used to encase the fiber optics, so the size is very small about 1/8" diameter x 1" length. After cutting and forming, we need to remove the burrs. Burrs are detrimental to our laser welding process(assembly). I wonder if the best way to do this is by chemical deburring. I will appreciate your recommendation.

Thank you.

Another alternative that may be applicable is cryogenic deburring. The process involves tumbling parts in a sub-zero atmosphere while blasting them with a polycarbonate media. The burrs "freeze" and cleanly break off when impacted by the media and/or tumbling action. It is environmentally safe and clean process. It can be done in-house or by a contract "job shop".

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
