Etchant for silver for decorative patterns

Looking for etchant of silver. Wish to form some pattern over silver plates of thickness 2-3 mm. Please advise.

You can use 1 part nitric acid and 2-5 parts water! Use rubber rubber gloves ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] and protect your eyes!
