Acid solution to dissolve stainless steel

For my science project I am looking for an acid solution to dissolve the (stainless) steel very quickly.

Hi, Ali!

It takes very powerful chemicals to dissolve a metal which has been carefully engineered to resist corrosion and dissolution. Please give us details about your science project first, including your age, what chemicals the school will let you work with, and in what venue the project will be presented. Obviously, you can't have aggressive dangerous chemicals like nitric and hydrofluoric acid sitting in open containers on a folding table at a typical school science fair. Thanks!
