Health impact of copper sulphate manufacturing

2004

I am interested in finding out what are the wastes generated by a copper sulphate on eBay or Amazon [affil link] manufacturing unit, in terms of solid, liquid, or gaseous wastes. Are there any toxic substances released. I am concerned as there is a manufacturing unit which has been set up in close proximity to my friend's house. I want to know what effects it can have upon the health of the residents of the area.

Sincerely,

Nila Pandian

You have not mentioned how far your friend's house is located from the copper sulphate manufacturing unit. My opinion on this is, it will not create any harm to public. But some acids will have strong reaction and I suggest you not to visit such industries while production.
