Summary for stainless steel industry uses Discussion
Stainless steel industry uses is the core topic here, but the thread is mostly a referral to outside research rather than a detailed market breakdown. Megan Fish, a marketing intern at a stamping and plating company, asked for information on new industries using stainless steel, markets where it will remain important, and consumption by market, especially as her company considers expanding beyond decorative appliance work. Lee Kremer of Stellar Solutions, Inc. replied that there are dozens of websites devoted to stainless steel and that a Google search for "stainless steel" would produce hundreds of leads. In other words, the practical advice was to use broad web research to gather industry and market data, since no specific sectors or consumption figures were provided in the answer.
Q. Hello.
I am currently working as a marketing intern for a stamping and plating company. I am working on a project regarding stainless steel. Our company has done decorative stainless steel applications for major appliance companies and we are considering entering into some new industries using stainless steel. As part of my project, I have been asked to find out information about the use of stainless steel in different industries. I need info. about new industries stainless steel has moved into, which markets stainless steel will remain being used, the consumption of stainless steel in different markets, and the like. I would appreciate any information or suggestions you could give me.
Thank you.
