Food grade polymer as flocculent aid

Hello, I need to obtain technical specifications of food grade polymer as flocculent aid (anionic and non-ionic). Can anyone help me with this. If so, I have some additional questions to ask. Thanks a lot and have a wonderful day

We use our share of polymer as flocculent aid in the finishing business, but do you need this for food use, or what is the connection? Regards, tom

Blanca - There are such things as GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) polymers. They are used primarily for treating food plant effluent that may have agricultural feed uses after the sludge is formed and processed. Contact a large water treatment company in your area for more information.

GRAS POLYMERS HAVE BEEN USED NOW FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS FOR FLOCCULATION OF SOLIDS IN BEEF, POULTRY, AND SEAFOOD.ONCE THE SOLIDS ARE REMOVED FROM WASTE STREAM SOME OF SOLIDS (SLUDGE) IS SENT TO RENDERING TO BE BLENDED WITH OTHER NON-EDIBLE PARTS FOR FEED. MANY STUDIES HAVE BEEN PERFORMED AND IN DEPTH AND NO HARMFUL OUTCOME HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED.THE RESIDUAL MONOMER THAT ENDS UP IN THE FEED IS VERY MINUTE.
