Chromate in Chemical Conversions on Aluminum

Mil-C-5541 [link by ed. to spec at TechStreet]E, but on reading it I did not see a referance to any chromate. Am I missing something?

- for the required properties of the chemicals to accomplish it, see MIL-C-81706
- for a list of qualified commercial products see QPL-81706.
