-----Nickel (and gold) plating on Tantalum
I need small parts of pure tantalum rack or barrel plated with 100 microinches (approx.) of nickel and gold. Most platers are not able to do the job since a high temperature vacuum bake is apparently required for good adhesion between the substrate and the nickel. Such equipment is usually not available in their facility. This would be an ongoing need from anyone who has the right equipment and expertise.

I would like to know the procedure of mixing gold and tantalum. If there is any possibility of gold + silver + copper + tantalum mixing, I would be obliged if you could let me know the procedure to carry out.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
