what is colour gold and how it is polished? I know how to plate 24 carat gold. But in case of 22 carat we use 3:2 copper and silver as alloy to make it . I want to know how to make it? If you know, please answer it .

Hi, Padmanava. The word "color" has two possible meanings in this context. First, you can create different colors of gold plating by small additions of other metals. The
Metal Finishing Guidebook includes a gold plating article that explains what metals to add for a number of different colors.
The second meaning is that metals do not properly reveal their true color when only roughly polished. The color comes out when a certain smoothness is achieved in the buffing process; and the step in the polishing process which brings out the color is called "color buffing". Good luck.
