-----Lacquer coating our line of stainless garden furniture
Can I coat lacquer on the stainless steel surface for garden furniture? Would it help to protect from dirt and rust contamination?

Hello,
The best coating systems for stainless steel furniture would be urethane or polyester, both are available in powder and wet paints.

Hi,
I am informed by our clients who coat stainless steel that it is one of the most difficult substrates to obtain adhesion - the coating film results in a envelope without good adhesion
adv.
- they use our waterbourne primer sold in the UK to overcome this problem.
To check adhesion cross hatch a section of your coated work apply some masking tape and pull this off quickly - none removal of the coating = good adhesion - try again on the same item after 3, 6 & 12 months outside exposure.
