Painting plastic planters

I recently bought two 3-tier hard plastic flower planters unfortunately they are in a Terra Cotta color and I wish to change the color to black or charcoal . What kinda of permanent paint will do this and will the paint stand up to the elements of being potted up and sitting outside all summer ?
