Accelerated Test for Decorative Tin Plating on Nickel

Which is the appropriate/best method for accelerated testing on Decorative Tin plating over Nickel? Kesternich and Sulfur dioxide test exposures are no way closer to my environment. My sample is going to sit in a sulfur free environment for days. Will replicating the current or the expected exposed environment with increased humidity and chlorides help?

Accelerated testing in general, and salt spray testing in particular, is actually just a QA test rather than a good predictor of life. Then again, a 'good' tin plating over a 'good' nickel plating should last indefinitely in a relatively benign environment, so a QA test that assures that the tin and nickel plating are 'good' should be all you need :-)
