Pro and Cons of autophoretic line

We are a Custom Metal Fabricating company and our main business is in the fabricating of Paint line systems. We are in the process of setting up a E-coat line but we are being approached by a company to install a Autophoretic line in Ontario, Canada. We are not familiar with such a line and would like some articles on this line. Also we would like to know all the pros and cons of such a process.

Please respond A.S.A.P.

"Autophoretic" is a trademark of Henkel, so they can provide such articles. It is difficult or impossible to find a single source for an objective comparison of any two competing products, but if you talk to both sides you'll be able to sort out which is more appropriate for which application. I think it's fair to say that e-coating can be prettier, but Autophoretic sees exceptionally wide use on automotive underbody components.
