Chemical film and anodizing

Is it chemical film per MIL-A-8625 / MIL-PRF-8625 [on DLA]c, class 3 also known clear anodize. thanks

No, Mr. Hoongwai, chemical film and clear anodize are different processes. Chemical film is a conductive chromate conversion coating of aluminum. Anodizing is a non-conductive electrolytic process which creates an aluminum oxide coating on the parts.

If you want a clear anodize, the corresponding MIL spec for the clear anodize is MIL-A-8625F Type II Class 1.
