Sheradising

An alternative to zinc electro-, mechanical, paint coatings that you don't hear much about, is sheradising. What is the optimal size (um) for the zinc powder used? Out of interest, are any analogous processes for coating with material other than zinc available?

Dear Mr. Roberts,

there is a new process which is a little bit similar to sheradising. It is called ZN�. In this process only ZN powder is used (no sand). Process time is less.
