A. There is a product called "Lead Check Swabs" made by BGI Incorporated. You should be able to find them with a search. I talked to them on the phone and they seemed very knowledgable and helpful. There are also lead testing crayons commercially available, though I have heard they're prone to give false positive readings.

A. It depends on what you mean by "cheap", and who the analysis results are for. If you need results that are going to be in any way required or reviewed by regulatory agencies for compliance, or if your customers are going to be held to account in the same way, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] is the cheapest, by far.
