Is there a white (not silver) metal

I am interested in designing an anniversary ring for my wife. I am wondering if there are any authentically WHITE metals -- NOT silver or chrome-colored; white, like ceramic. It would have to be able to withstand abrasion, obviously, so the color would not scratch off. Titanium can be anodized in various colors, could it be anodized white? I have come across black titanium, but not white. Are there any jewelers working with such a metal? Thanks.

Aluminum can be anodized white/Ematal process/. Best solution is white enameled gold or silver.
