Calibrating pH meter

I am calibrating a pH meter. Can I use distilled water that I already prepared at normal room temperature? and its pH is 7 or is variable?

No, you need at least two buffered standard solutions to calibrate a pH meter.

How do I calibrate my ph pen? I have 2 solutions with the pen, but instructions are mad. My solutions are, ph4.003, and ph 6.864, they are my buffers. This is for checking ph in a tropical fish tank.

Thanks in advance

Jim
