Hardfacing a steel cam

I need to repair and hardface a 100 lb. cam made out of steel. Since this the only time I will do this job, I have to choose between buying the ultrajet and the eutalloy torches. Which one should I choose?

Thank you,

Neither, in my opinion, Rene. There are dozens of firms in the jobshop business who not only have this equipment, but the experience with the process to do it right. Although equipment is necessary to do this finishing process, I think experience and skill will prove equally important, such that doing it on a one-off basis may not be the best approach. Good luck.
