POLISHING OF SILVER ARTICLES

I have a wholesale business of manufacturing of silver articles. The items are basically of Indian style & export type. The items are light weight and it requires careful polishing. The items are in different types of shapes and sizes. So I wanted to know a method of polishing these items to high polish/mirror finish. It will be very helpful to export these items.

There are a lot of ways to go here. What will determine how to proceed is the quantity of parts, their sizes and shapes and how much money you want to invest in equipment. All mass finishing systems will achieve the results you are looking for. Basically you have a another choice here and that is brightness vs smoothness. Meaning, if you want a reflective finish or a high gloss finish. Typically, most jewelry polishing is now being done with magnetic burnishing systems after some cut down method.

Ed. note: Sorry, but that really isn't the way the forum works, Mr. Tambat. This is a public forum rather than a literature fulfillment service. You asked a question, Mr. Kenton answered it as best he could considering the limited data, and asked for more data on what you want to do. If you will try to answer his request for clarification, I'm sure he or someone else will provide a more targeted answer for you. Thanks!
