-----Electroplating nickel on aluminum
2004
Hi,
I want to electroplate the inner core of aluminum cylinder with nickel/chromium. Nickel plating is often done on iron. How is it possible to do this job on aluminum?
Please help Thank you,

The best thing to do would be to simply send it to a plating shop which offers plating on aluminum, Mr. Singh. There are a number of ways to plate onto aluminum, including zincate followed by copper cyanide, zincate followed by electroless nickel, two-metal zincate-like immersion plating, an all tin proprietary process, and
(it is said, although I've never been personally involved with it) phosphoric acid anodizing as a pretreatment for plating.
Not knowing your level of experience in electroplating, you may be hours away or months away from successfully plating this item if you do it in house.
