-----Chroming, I'm so confused
Hello,
I was wondering if (chrome) brush plating is good for automotive chroming. I'm trying to get in the business but I want something that's going to look good. Which is the best for automotive chroming...brush or what. Or should I spring for the big vats and all that.

Mr. Thornton, if you are confused about this, you'll get real confused about the MACT standards, 40CFR433 effluent standards, F006 sludge accumulation, labeling, & manifesting requirements, record keeping requirements for blood tests & medical monitoring, etc.
You will find that you cannot successfully brush plate the chromium, and you will need the big vats and all that. But decorative chrome plating is not easy, and the government regulation of chrome plating will probably shock you. Have you worked in a plating shop? If not, you might want to get a job in one for a year or so before you get yourself into trouble.
