Think about it; processing mills the world over process stainless steel on lines with steel rolls, levelers, cut-to-length, etc., and do not have iron contamination problems. Your type problem most commonly occurs when carbon steel is processed prior to stainless steel without rigorous cleanup prior to processing the stainless. The contamination is not from the steel rolls per se, but from contamination from the previous product(s) run on the line.
