Adhesion testing in PCB manufacture

I am a PCB Process Engineer looking for a practical specification for an adhesive tape that can be used to test adhesion of metallic plated coatings i.e. Electroless Copper, ENIG, Immersion silver. We are currently 'tape testing' - to check for good adhesion and are finding our standard tape is leaving the adhesive from the tape on the PCB. Can anyone advise on the specification or source of a suitable tape, including tensile strength, peel adhesion properties.

Thanks,

I've always used standard Scotch tape, but the area tested was ALWAYS cleaned with a solvent ( isopropyl alcohol ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] or MEK / methyl ethyl ketone ) after testing.
