-----Electrical bonding use of Alodine 1200 and 1201
2004
I am in the aerospace industry and work many issues regarding electrical bonding. We used to use Alodine 1200 for electrical bonding applications as well as paint. We ran into problems meeting required electrical requirements. We then found out that per the Mil-Spec there was no requirement for electrical conductivity. We then went to Alodine 600 for electrical bonding applications.
Now I am seeing reference to Alodine 1201 ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] for use in electrical bonding applications. Can you tell me if the 1201 has electrical characteristics similar to Alodine 1200, which are not really always adequate for electrical bonding?
Thanks
