The right maskant.

1999

Several Years ago we purchased a green colored plating maskant manufactured by a company called "Turco". The carrier for the maskant (VOC) is perchlorethylene. When we ran out, we found our distributor was no longer in business and could not find the manufacturer either. None of the other maskants we have tried since will properley do the job, in fact our reject rate has quadrupled! The job itself is a .00035" thick nickel electroform from an aluminum mandrel which must be washed out in caustic soda ⇦liquid caustic soda in bulk on Amazon [affil link] . Does anybody know the whereabouts of Turco or of a perchlor based maskant? Help please.
