Peptone and Tin Plating?

1999

Hello

I've been having problems using Peptone as an Addative for acid/neutral Tin plating.

Shortly after plating begins the tin stops depositing usfully and forms treed deposits, as if no organic addative had been used.

Are there any tipps or special handleing proccedures that I am unaware of?

I'm currently working my way through a selection of peptones, they are derived from natural sources and therefore do vary, is there a specific source I should acquire?

Got any suggestions?

Ian
