Polishing a stainless steel sink

I have stainless steel kitchen sinks and I would like to polish the surface as it has dulled after 23 years of use. I will greatly appreciate all the help and suggestions I get.

How do I clean my stainless steel sink and get rid of scratches and dullness?

I also need this question answered (FYI: how to spruce up an scratched stainless steel sink). Surely there must be someone out there who knows the answer to this, even if only to tell us that it can't be done & we have to replace.
Thanks!

Certainly folks, there is a way to remove those unsightly scratches, stains, rust and oxidation from 'brushed' Stainless steel sinks and appliances, and grills..Scratch-B-Gone to the rescue. Available at retailers throughout the US and Canada, Scratch-B-Gone does what the name implies..removes scratches and revitalizes older, worn surfaces. We say "If you can follow a straight line...You can remove scratches" Thanks
