Cloud-Chamber coating process

I am looking for information on a variation of the vacuum-coat process called a "cloud-chamber" where coating is supposedly atomized to form a "cloud" whereby coating parts. Has anyone heard of this process and if so do you have info. on equipment?

We have developed a vapor-cloud type method for vacuum metallizing but we do not call it vapor-cloud; we call it vapor-bath. I wonder if that is what you are referring to.
