Rapid prototyping ABS plastic

2003

During the rapid prototyping process we use ABS(acrylnitrile butadene styrene ) plastic. After the production has finished we start finishing it.
However the final product does not satisfy us because of the lacks in the finishing part. Could you please give advise to us?

With my best regards,

Quantity, size and shape has a lot to do with what method to use for surface finishing. For reasonably large quantities, mass finishing systems is the way to go. Depending on the present surface finish you may need more than a one step process; however, the final step will be a treated (polishing blend) of dry organic media.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
