Nickel Titration

I work for a company manufacturing piezoelectric ceramics. For the past year, I have been working on developing an electroless nickel/immersion gold plating line.
I have had success in a beaker scale operation, in which the solution is discarded after every two or three runs. We are currently in the process of scaling up to 1 gallon tanks.
To avoid generating massive amounts of waste, I have been attempting to use nickel titration and making necessary adjustments to the solution. The company who provides us with chemicals has given inconsistent procedures for the titration.

Is there a standard procedure for nickel phosphorus titration?
I would appreciate anyone who can provide some support for what has worked for them.

Try this: pipette [pipettes on eBay or Amazon [affil link] 10 ml bath into an erlenmeyer flask, add 100 ml DI water, 10 ml .88 M NH4OH, and .1 g murexide [affil link] indicator. Titrate with 0.1M EDTA to a violet blue endpoint. Mls .1 M EDTA x .587 = g/l Ni

Mr.James Totter! I think...... 1 M EDTA(ml) * 5.87 = g/l(NI)

We are currently nickel plating copper. I am very interested in the violet blue end result, could I get more information?

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
