Finishing titanium in black

Ones Steel is coated with titanium can it be finished matte black or flat black, either by anodizing or some other process? If so how impacted, scratch, wear, corrosion resistant and durable would it be opposed to an black phosphate finish on steel?

Hi, Jonathan. I had looked up 'Ones Steel' in search engines without success when our webmaster observed that, duh, 'Ones' was probably just a misspelling of 'once'.

Now that I understand the question, I would expect any titanium coating to be superior to a phosphate coating in almost every respect. Yes, it can be anodized, colored by proprietary processes, etc.
