Removing lime deposits from chrome bathroom fixtures

I have what appear to be lime deposits on my chrome bathroom fixtures (faucets, towel racks, etc.) and am wondering what is the best and most economical way to clean them and remove the deposits and spots.

Hello, Mae.

There are readily available products like C-L-R [on eBay or Amazon] , designed for removing calcium-lime deposits.

However, some bathroom fixtures are plated zinc diecastings which, after their useful life (which may be only a few months if they are low quality), 'bloom' with white pits and pimples. I would be surprised to see calcium deposits building up on towel racks, so I fear this may be the case. But get some C-L-R or equivalent and try it.
