Information on Plastic Plating

We have a plastic called GE C1200 HF which is 30%ABS & 70% PC. I would like to know whether this grade is PLATABLE. If it is platable what is the process sequence to be followed. If some one can give me the information it would be really helpful for me.

Sir

Many "Alloys" of PC+ABS are plateable. GE themselves can certify this. You should speak to GE. However the subject is complex and needs more detail than this column can stand. It is quite possible to achieve satisfactory plating over this alloy too. You would do well to take on a qualified consultant with Plating on plastics experience on ABS Alloys. This is new for India.
