Help painting shower frame

I have a silver shower frame that is starting to corrode. I would like to try and paint it, hopefully gold/brass is this possible? If not what options do I have if any, and how would I go about it?

Thanks so much,

Would it be fair to say that you don't really mean silver, you mean 'silveryish-colored'? In other words, probably a typical clear anodized aluminum shower frame?

Anodized aluminum, well scrubbed, can probably be painted with the typical Rustoleum, Krylon, Red Devil paints made for metal, with sufficient adhesion to be worthwhile. But I don't think the results will be great. There is a good reason they are made of anodized aluminum :-)

I have recently purchased sink cabinets for my bathroom. The faucets and knobs are of oil rubbed bronze. How can I change the trim around shower and closet doors to match the new metal color? Also have towel bars of the bronze finish. Anything that would darken them and take away from the silver look would suffice. Thanks for any suggestions.
