Black Nickel Finish "mimic"

I read with interest a posting (and threads) about black nickel finishes. I was searching the web for a paint finish that MIMICS black nickel so that I can paint over metal coat hooks (there are none available with black nickel finish) so that they will match our cabinet knobs (brass with black nickel finish). Does anyone know of a paint color that mimics this look? Thank you. By the way, we had Berenson black nickel plated knobs in our former kitchen which "wore" well for 10 years (we just sold the home and the knobs are still in excellent condition). We are purchasing the same knobs for our current kitchen. Clemmie
